The heavens opened up, but not until after we all had stuffed bellies from the “STEAK-Feast” put forth by Ikey and the Gang. We had several dignitaries from Cooper Electric, a few VIP Customers and lots of friends and family as we enjoyed one of the best tailgate cookouts you’re find! On the menu were Ike’s famous steaks, fried shrimp, Connie’s green beans, baked taters (The butter came late- thanks to Garry’s “Mad Cow” issues), potato salad and Phyllis’ Lemon Delight for the “Sugar” Fix!!!!!! WOW!!!
It was TRULY our pleasure to spend a wet evening with all these fine people!!

Next up—– BEAST Series @ Carolina Speedway in Gastonia, NC the Friday night 5-11-2012.

We’re headed to Fayetteville Speedway this Saturday night for the 4th Annual Ed Gibbons Memorial Super Late Model Event in Fayetteville, NC. This is a special event for the Cash competitors. “Lil” Ed’s 07 was always a familar site at the Clash events. Please come and join us in honor of our friend and fellow racer as Ricky pursues the “Fix-4-Six” campaign.

We will travel back to Lancaster SC for a Carolina Clash Super Late Model event. Coming off a wild weekend, Ricky hopes to settle back down and focus on the “Fix-4-Six” campaign. The weather is looking good and the track will be fast, so come out and enjoy some Saturday night dirt racing at its finest.

Starting deep in the field at The Carolina Crown in Lancaster SC, Ricky keep his calm for most of the early stages of the 75 lap cautioned filled event. As the laps wound down, he inched his way closer to the front. By lap 60, running solidly in 3rd position, the right rear blew, taking the brake line with it. Fire erupted on the right rear and ended our chance at victory. Once the damage was repaired, he returned to the track and secured a solid 4th place finish in the highest paying dirt event in SC history.

We will be returning to Lancaster this Saturday, 4-17, for a Carolina Clash event.

We will be traveling to Madison, NC for a Carolina Clash Super Model event this Saturday March 31st. As Mother Nature has won the last 2 events, the stage is looking better for this weekends show. 311 always provides exciting side by side, fast racing. Ricky won 2 races at 311 in 2011 and hopes to continue this success in 2012! Come support Ricky and the gang as we compete for the top prize.
